EASY START + EASY ADJUST + EASY SHUT DOWN = QUALITY

The product is very well made, it combines metal components and plastic, you can really feel the quality in your hands. I don't use this for cooking at all, I actually use it in my shop for small projects. This is definitely a buy. Easy to charge with butane liquid, easy to start, easy to adjust the flame and easy to turn off.

Exactly what I needed!

This burner is easy to use, with precise flame and safety. I use this burner to sterilize my garden cutting tools to protect my orchids from pests that like to migrate from plant to plant on the tools. One caveat: the Zippo butane that Revain pairs with this burner (below the list) isn't what you need. You need a triple cleaning gas (e.g. Blazer).

EXTREMELY DANGEROUS - DO NOT SWITCH OFF!

When I filled it with Zippo butane fuel, there was a slight hiss after removing the filler neck. A beautiful flame formed but could not be controlled or stopped. Turning it off had no effect, nor did rotating the rear dial either way. Since it produced a large, strong flame that couldn't be adjusted or turned off, I placed it in the oven and closed the door until the fuel and flame died out. Then I threw it away.

If you don't have a flashlight you're doing something wrong

This is the nicest kitchen purchase I've ever made. What could be more fun than a flashlight, and it's also incredibly efficient and practical. The first dish I used the burner on was pork tenderloin wrapped in bacon. I loved being able to quickly get a crispy, crispy crust while keeping the center of the loin moist and perfectly cooked. Couldn't have asked for better and it was damn easy. Highly recommended!

Nice addition to my kitchen

The Jo Chef kitchen burner is a handy browning tool. Faster and more efficient than lighting a brazier for small jobs. It's also easier to see the result you're getting. PLEASE NOTE: For safety reasons, it is delivered empty. Don't forget to also order a butane gas bottle if you want to play right away (and who doesn't want that?). As other reviewers have noted, I found it easier to fill out by laying it on the page. Pay attention to the "max fill" line, as cold butane expands when warmed to…

First of all I would like to say that I read many reviews and reviewed many culinary torches before deciding on this one. The review that stuck with me warns people about this flashlight because it cannot be turned off. I figured no way. It can't be, there's almost always a way to control the flame/turn off the torch.
