Nice enough but very stiff with internal wedge

can soften the stiffness. (yes they are very stiff) The inner wedge (in the one pic I added) goes all the way to my thumb. The calf is wider, but I can easily fit my .380 there. I also think that the calf straps can give more if I make them softer. Just take a look. They are not very wide so if you have a wide foot they may not fit you. There is plenty of toe room, but not much in the girth of the foot. Inner gusset comes with unattached leg insert only. I haven't had to ride them yet, but a…

Pros
  • Hidden wedge two and a half inches long giving you an extra slight increase in height

Great boots but worried about durability

These boots are great! I like the hidden heel (I'm short and it helps me keep my feet flat). I like that they are adjustable at the ankle and calf. You can even walk comfortably and stand around and chat at a bike night or festival. They look good and fit well. I have wide feet and a high instep so I always size up my boots, maybe I didn't need to go that much bigger but I'm glad I did. rips velcro fasteners on the inside of the calf. I might try taking them to a shoe repair shop to see what…

Cute and great for shorties!

First let me say that I love the style of these boots. I LOVE the 2.5 inch heel. I'm a little girl (5ft 2in) and needed more power for some of the bikes I'm considering. However, I have calves. Small feet, small ankles, but calves. These boots are NOT made for large calves. My current shoe size is 8.5, no more and no less. I initially order a size 8 but found that the top zip did not zip shut and cut off circulation and the arch was not where it should be (true 8.5 as I said). I came back and…

Sexy, well made and functional!

Sexy, high quality and functional! These are the perfect biker boots for women. Pretty comfortable as bike boots and comfortable to wear on a 6+ hour trip. The underside has excellent grip even on oily roads. I don't usually buy shoes online, I prefer to try them on, but I liked their feminine look, so I bought them right away without reading the reviews. It wasn't until I received them that I really noticed and found out that they have a hidden heel. I'm 5'8 so didn't really need a paragraph…

Very nice for the price.

I love these boots. do not like. I'm 5ft tall and ride a 2014 Honda CBR250. I still can't spit my foot out when stopping with these boots, but it makes a foot a lot lighter and more stable. I feel a lot more confident being able to support the weight of the bike with the extra wedge. Toe box is a bit thick/bulky. It took me a while to learn how to put my foot under the shifter. So this is something that you will have to overcome with experience when riding in these boots. One of the main…

  • Upgrades available

To update. Therefore it will be hit or miss for you.

Rider upgrade. I have a strong belief that these boots will be a win-win for people as your foot rests on the pins and the wedges feel so uncomfortable. I got on my R1 buddies that I've ridden a couple of times and I was sure I was really going to send these boots back. Because of the two and a half inch heels, it was very uncomfortable to change gears and it seemed to me that he was forcing me to brake on the right. I obviously ride my toes in my photos and move to brake or skid, but if you…
