I was in a bike accident while wearing a full helmet, this jacket, blue jeans, gloves and boots. All areas covered by jacket, helmet or boots were intact and flawless except for a small wound. The portions covered by the blue jeans were torn and took months to heal along with physical therapy. Now I have pants too. It's a great product, especially considering it's reasonably priced.

Holy cow. I love this jacket. I bought size 5xL. I'm a very tall guy and I was worried that I wouldn't be able to close this jacket. It's great, even for a very tall character like me. Air consumption 50/50. I think it's because of my height ie. When I close the vents in the back because the jacket is a tight fit on me the airflow is obviously blocked, when I sit down and raise my shoulders a bit the airflow is amazing. I like the cut and the finish of this jacket. It has practical zippers, pockets in the right places. The ride is very comfortable, 5 stars for that. I just rode over 3,000 miles to and from the Sturgis Rally, climbed over 10,000 feet and felt good. On very cold mornings (it said 32 degrees on the road sign) I wore a sweatshirt underneath, still comfortable. COMPLAINT, THIS JACKET IS NOT WATERPROOF AS RECOMMENDED. Excellent jacket. It stays very warm with the liner on and with all the airflow options open it delivers good airflow (I'm in Phoenix, Arizona so that's huge). I've been outside in the rain a few times and the waterproof zippers do their job well. I think that's because they're waterproof, but they're TERRIBLE when it comes to closing them up.
