accurate, easy to read, HARD! Love it.

Great and accurate, replaces the old Craftsman. Also bought Starrett and Empire. All three are so good I'm keeping all 3. A little piggy but they are used by my team!

Pros
  • 24" x 2" body, 16" x 1-1/2" tongue, 1/8" thick
Cons
  • Safety

Great product but why is it covered in stubborn stickers?

Grade 1 product but with lots of super sticky stickers with barcodes and other numbers which the manufacturer probably never intended. These stickers were very difficult to peel off and left a very stubborn sticky residue that was very difficult to remove despite intensive cleaning and the use of solvents. It was a great disappointment and a great pain. Stickers and scraps hide numbers and have markings.

Pros
  • Steel case with urethane anti-corrosion coating
Cons
  • Some minor issues

Line has line

Excellent for such a price, honestly I don't see anything wrong with it. I use it for wood and leather work and its weight is fantastic for holding material in the latter case.

Pros
  • Steel case with urethane anti-corrosion coating
Cons
  • You could have chosen a newer model

accurate, easy to read, HARD! Love it.

Excellent and accurate, replaces the old master. Bought both Starrett and Empire. All three are so good I'm keeping all three. A little piggy, but they are used by my team!

Pros
  • Stamped divisions and numbers
Cons
  • I don't remember

Good solid. a little heavy, the product.

Damn it's a little heavy just having to hold it with my fingers. This is the only criticism. Otherwise, it's a hard, durable piece of metal that should withstand nuclear attack. All characters are easy to see and read.

Pros
  • Includes board tables and rafter tables
Cons
  • Quick instructions
