We never use a whole onion. Our onion in this pie for a week. I used a ziplock bag again, which allows it to be stored in the fridge for several weeks. Sad because I wanted it to work :(

I have tried so many onion storage products and the fridge smelled like onions even when the container was placed in a plastic bag. It really works and I don't smell any onions at all! Pleasantly surprised!

Just the right size for a medium to small or half sized onion. Keeps odors in and out of the fridge. Seems sturdy, have bought something like this before and it broke the first time I dropped it. Not this one

Wish it was bigger and not semi-circular. You can really only stick half an onion in here. It closes well, is easy to open and close, easy to clean and otherwise looks good. A medium or large onion will not do, unless it is half an onion. :/

When I visited my daughter, I saw this in her fridge. I rarely use a whole onion at a time, so I'm always trying to find the best way to store leftovers. I thought this solved the problem (and it was very nice too). I ordered one and was very satisfied. Chopped onions stay very fresh (and don't cause odor problems).

I bought it because my husband used to wrap chopped onions in foil, put them in plastic bags and then store them in plastic containers. Like Fort Knox. Lol It was hard work getting the bow out. This little device really works! He was a little skeptical that it would help prevent the smell, but it did! If you want to buy it to fight onion odor then definitely YES!

I have been looking for a Tupperware onion guard but I see that it is no longer available. I chose this one based on the positive reviews. I am very comfortable. I was surprised how this keeps the smell inside. You cannot smell the onion, it is easy to clean and suitable for most types of onions. Some of them are too big, but overall they do their job well. Very happy with it. I like it more than the Tupperware bow holder.

You can knock me out with a feather. This thing actually keeps onions fresh and not smelly in your fridge. Serious. I've had it for over a year and neither my husband nor I ever remember starting a new bow. Between tacos and Sunday breakfast, we eat onions, but never whole ones. I keep half an onion in this thing for over 3-4 weeks and the fridge never smells and onions are always good. STRUCK!

I bought this to replace the previous one I had. So far, this has been long-lasting and keeps the onion smell by itself rather than in the whole fridge. The only suggestion I'd like is that there should be a few tabs to prevent the onions from touching the bottom of the container to allow air to circulate in the container and keep it fresh. Time will tell the strength but it seems quite durable and I expect it to last quite a while.
