Start drilling hard materials like semi-precious stones like quartz, agate, granite. Other bits didn't work very well, but this one works surprisingly well (at least according to my expectations). Don't forget to water the drill site. I am satisfied with this purchase, will repeat this purchase if necessary (purchase of the same item).
Pros
3mm diamond coated hole saw for drilling holes in glass, marble, tile or granite.
This is amazing at an amazing price! We drill 1,000 holes a year in blown and molten glass and they work just as well as our expensive water drills. I went through 30 holes before I could tell they were wearing it which is awesome! The trick is that you must have a water dam or running water since you are constantly drilling. A good trick to prolonging their life is to use aluminum construction tape on the opposite side of the glass you are drilling so the tiny rod comes out of the hollow drill
Got a drill and started drilling porcelain stoneware floors. It's definitely the right tool, as always. The drill leaves almost no impressions on my floor. When I first started using it, I encountered 2 problems: 1. The drill bit wears out on each of the holes I drilled. Basically half the tip is gone and bigger isn't sharp enough for the next hole bending when it gets soft. Make sure you don't have the expectation of using it again and again when drilling into hard material like porcelain.
