Joseph 92104 Pop Chopping Mats Review

This is an elegant and good replacement for my old clunky boards. They are a bit more flexible than I expected so a small adjustment was needed.

We have tried other mats over the years and they hold up well and are very easy to use. I like the lightness and size which is perfect for a variety of purposes.

I craft with candy, cake flowers and other cake and cake pop decorations and these mats come in very handy. Keep chilled in the fridge, perfectly wrapped in cling film, easy to clean and keep clean and tidy. snaps. I found it in a specialty store. And I'm glad it's available at the best price here at Revain and got another one.

When I first used them to chop vegetables with a sharp knife, there were a few cuts on the cutting mat. I have used similar Ikea rugs and they have lasted for several years. I just assumed they would last as long, but I was disappointed with all the marks left on the mats after the first use. Maybe my knives are too sharp?

These mats are a little smaller than I expected, but other than that they do the job. They're not fancy and don't have enough weight to keep them from sliding across the counter, but if you're looking for basic butcher rugs, they're great. They are nice because you have different boards for different types of food, but they are not big enough. For example, if you need to cut several vegetables for a meal, you can't just set aside one and chop another. You'll need a bowl or something to put everything in. I like to chop veggies on the board and then just dump them into the pan. I end up using more than one of these veg-only boards, which makes having a board for every type of food pointless. They seem to flex too easily when pushing waste into the bin, which can create a mess between the counter and the bin.
