Perfect Bedding for My Terrarium

This bioactive substrate turned out to be the best choice for my pet supplies. As my tests showed, it provides the perfect environment for my reptile with excellent humidity and its bacteria activated feature keeps away any bad odor. On the downside, it's a bit pricey compared to other substrates; but the benefits outweigh the cost. It's definitely worth the investment for a healthier and happier pet!

Pros
  • Creates a naturalistic and healthy environment for reptiles and amphibians
Cons
  • Requires regular maintenance to keep the substrate healthy and prevent odor buildup

Great for Crested Geckos

I'm new to bioactive environments and this is my second attempt at setting up my aquarium. Last time I used a different substrate and it got moldy within a week and only got worse so I started from scratch and used this substrate instead. I've added some extra charcoal for extra mold protection and odor absorption and so far in two months I haven't had a single mold stain. I haven't moved my crested gecko yet as I've been slowly adding things to the tank so I don't have a mold problem anymore…

Pros
  • Terrarium Litter, Sand and Substrate
Cons
  • Can't remember

Surprise!

I am setting up a vivarium for my grandson. I was planning to collect some lower animals from our area in Southeast Alaska for my grandson to observe. I mixed Josh's Frogs Biobedding and ABG substrates. I placed them with a barrier over Josh's false bottom. There's nothing but a flat stone that I washed and baked in the oven. This morning I found a miniature snail crawling on a rock. It's not even 1mm, but cute as a button. Its armor is iridescent and flat like a tire. As you can imagine, I'm…

Pros
  • Litter
Cons
  • Long delivery time
