Hopefully it will hold up outside. In fact, it is a thick chenille fabric. Looks cool but I'm worried about how it will hold up in the rain or snow. Just take a look. I've read some reviews about the product getting tangled, but if you cut the straps and slowly and carefully pull out the top hook, it will disengage just fine. We didn't have any concealment issues, but left it fully extended until we were ready to install it. I'll update my review once we see how it fares with the weather.

Although the individual strands were twisted together in the packaging, they came apart very easily. The top hook was easy to hang over the existing cup hook that holds my Christmas lights. Each crossing is tied independently so it was easy to trim them down to size without falling apart. Skeins are fluffy synthetic fibers that are much more visible than rope or twine. It seemed to glow brightly under my light effect.

When I ordered this giant net I had low expectations of this giant net but I couldn't believe how well it has held up through October. The mesh is well packaged in the box and I highly recommend not taking all the sections straight out of the box or you will end up with a very tangled mesh.
