Doesn't stick to chair legs

I loved these chair leg pads. I love how perfectly they match my thin metal chair legs and how they protect my wooden felt backed floor. Fast forward a few weeks and I've changed my mind. The felt floor seems too narrow, causing the rubber pads to slip off the legs (see photo). I've had to replace a few of them.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Modern

Just a trick: furniture hardware

I bought 1/2" to 5/8" sizes for the legs of my side bolster/dining chairs from Avers (Wayfair). The fit is reasonably secure, ideally could be a bit tighter, but they stay in place when the chairs are pushed across the wooden dining floor. They look like a natural extension of the legs and I feel so much better knowing I can slide the chairs back under the table without leaving scratches. Inexpensive and effective solution!

No more scratches on the floor.

My husband and I are very careful with the felt/cushions on our dining room chairs as we have guests weekly and most guests are not aware that the chairs scratch wooden floors. This is by far the best solution we've found, they don't peel off like regular glued felt pads do. And the clear plastic is really invisible unless you're really looking for a chair leg cover!๐Ÿคช. Great design and very functional. Highly recommended for chairs that scratch floors.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not bad

I really wanted to like them

I have a new floor that my chair legs have dipped with. The legs are very small so after browsing the internet I found and bought them. They are very easy to install, just slide onto the leg. They fit perfectly and you have to move a little to put them on and they are not easy to take off. However, you don't stay if you sit. They slowly detach from the foot. The plastic part is not long enough to hold her in the chair. That's why I gave it a low rating for bad design.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • New competitors appeared
