Easier to get my cat in and out quickly when going through airport security. My cat easily entered and exited through one of the side entrances. I liked the fact that I was hands free when checking in for my flight and also walked around the airport. There are four ways to access your pet: from two sides, from the front and through an extension.

This is great for taking your cat with you when you can't leave her at home or if, like our cat, she likes to ride. You can attach your pet's harness to the leash for added security. There are 3 mesh sides for good airflow and it opens into a longer section for more movement or for placing groceries on the floor. It's very cool and fun to see people smile when you walk with a cat in your backpack.

My cat is nine pounds and when in it needs to sit up straight. When she lies down she has to curl up and looks very uncomfortable. Also, the bottom edge of the bag sags because of her body weight, so she can't even sit on a flat surface while I walk with the backpack strapped to my shoulders. I have tightened the straps as tight as possible but it still happens. I wish I could return it but I waited too long for the return date.

We haven't used this as a backpack yet but it worked great when we were in the car with our cat. The way it opens allows him to sit and look out the window and/or fall asleep on the way.
