Replaced by iPad Mini 2 A1489. I've just read some seemingly positive 4 and 5 star reviews but even they mention that their home button doesn't work. Who leaves positive feedback when 1 out of 2 hardware features don't work?! A broken home button is a common problem when replacing a screen. Go to another seller.

What I received does not match what is shown in the listing. It was missing an important part and didn't work properly for me. Halos and other touchscreen issues appeared after installation. I contacted the seller and they responded quickly, but they said they don't use the missing part in the latest version because (in their words) it's almost useless. Since the digitizer didn't work with my device, I'm not sure if the missing part is useless.

Works! Touchscreen and home button work! Clay does his job! with mini brain breaks in between, haha! I replaced the device screen for the first time and luckily everything went well. Unfortunately I will be buying ANOTHER replacement screen because before I could get my tablet screen protector it fell off and broke again! On the plus side, I know this screen replacement works and is a lot cheaper than buying a new tablet haha.

This turned out to be a fingerprint homescreen button and did not work after installation. Maybe it's because of my installation error. The screen itself works flawlessly and looks premium. The installation instructions were useless and I relied more on 3rd party YouTube instructions. They only had email contact, no website for information or instructions.
