JR Products 422 BK Black Rubber Review

The illustration shows the design of the capsule for attachment to the water inlet. It is round in shape, with one of the two broken during installation. If you don't have a camera, don't carry one. Don't order anything from this seller because he wants to take a picture of it first.

I just installed this JR Products City Water Dust Cover on my van and it fits just like the OEM cover I replaced. I tried one from Valterra before but it was too thick and broke trying to install it. In general I like Valterra products but in this case JR products work best.

Product has a very short lifespan. Don't expect them to last a year in the sun. The price is absolutely ridiculous. For the price of one, there should have been at least six packs of these tiny plastic sleeves. We'll move on to bottle caps or some other solution before we spend $8 on one of those again.

I bought these to replace the exact same part on my caravan. With my water intake, this product expands slightly to accommodate a female fitting. The fit inside the air intake is good and tight when riding on the road. I removed one star because they are made of very thin rubber and can fail due to the elements.

My trailer is several years old and has been stored outdoors with moderate direct sunlight. The dust cover that came with the trailer deteriorated to the point where I found it necessary to find a replacement. This product is fully compliant. I just pulled off what was left of the old cap and put it on the hose fitting.
