Fits and does what it should.

I've seen reviews saying it stretches but haven't used it much. Either way, there isn't a lot of horsepower on this bike. I bought this to lengthen the chain and use the large sprocket on my Honda Trail 90 '65 ct200. Now that I've tried it, I'll most likely go back to the rear sprocket anyway. - Stan

Pros
  • Hands free
Cons
  • Very expensive

Yes, it will fit Hawk 250's with factory sprockets,

This is slightly thicker metal than the factory Hawk 250 chain to make it last longer and cause less mess. Heat candle wax in a frying pan and then dip the chain in a hot wax, then let it harden, then pull the chain out of the hot wax, the wax will fill in the gaps in the rollers and keep them lubricated for a long time,

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Not sure

Chain good, suspension link missing

I waited too long to wear it and when I finally took it out of the box I found the main link was missing after the return period. Not a big deal, just a reminder to double check if you find out it's activated. This is the JT network, I've used them before and they get the job done for a good price. If you remember, lubricate them with oil and they will serve you for many years.

Pros
  • Easy assembly
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Will not fit standard JT-428H chain

I ordered a standard JT428H chain (not gold) but it was missing a master link. I ordered this because at the time it was all they had on Amazon and it didn't work. The chain was 0.5mm wider than the main link so I couldn't attach the clip. It might work if you buy a gold chain, but until now I thought all 428 main links were the same size without o-rings, but I think they're not.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Only available in black
