Modern building codes call cabinet lights unsafe - that's your answer. Very easy to install and they turn off quickly when you close the cabinet door.

I didn't install the lights my husband did but he did 4 cabinets in an hour so I would say the installation is pretty easy. The light comes on as soon as I open the door. It only stays on when I close the door.

Installed in a washer/dryer closet in a rented space not used due to occasional visits. The light worked for the first few months and still lights up when there is movement, but it has now dimmed a lot and needs to be replaced. piss off!

Installed at the top of the stairs to the basement so turns on automatically when approaching the landing at the top and when you climb the stairs at the bottom (turns about 1/2 of the way). That's a very bright light. Mounted on a conventional ceiling junction box. Easy to connect to electrical wiring.

My goal was to replace the existing light fixture in a small dressing room. The switch for this light is hard to reach, so I was hoping the motion sensor would do the job. But I was unable to complete the installation of the new light due to the incorrect spacing between the screws on the light and the ceiling mount. Even not fully assembled I was able to test it a bit. The motion sensor seems to work fine. But the brightness is not enough for me.

Three problems with this product:1. Older junction boxes require additional hardware/rail (not included with other sensors) 2. The back of the light protrudes far enough not to touch the wall it is mounted on.3. It's really not a 4 inch flashlight, it's a 6.5 inch flashlight. Other manufacturers indicate the dimensions of the actual lantern when labeling products. Disappointed with the purchase.

Not recommended for sleeping areas. Because the light glows slightly when it should be "off", probably due to voltage leakage through the PIR sensor. However, there is a small Flickr, which you can tell from the corner of your eye. As shown in the image which has thick black lines. High quality LEDs do not produce these thick lines. Pros: It has a fast motion sensor and the product is bright compared to a regular 60W incandescent bulb.

The product itself is great and works perfectly and produces lots of light. My difficulty with the installation was that I have an old (pre-war) house with plaster ceilings and old fashioned junction boxes. This combination made the installation extremely difficult - two different wizards could not solve the installation problem.
