Guide makes sewing half square triangles easier

Very helpful when sewing half square triangles or diagonally across a square. Simply align the point with the guide of this product when sewing.

Pros
  • Perfect Piecing Quilt Block Foundation Sheets can be used in inkjet and laser printers, copiers or marked with any type of marker
Cons
  • Some problems

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Crumpled paper

Top edge of paper is crumpled. Looks like someone didn't put the papers carefully in the plastic bag they came in. I think this will cause problems with my printer so I will try to iron it before using it. I will not order this brand again.

Pros
  • Non-woven fabric for clean tears or can be left in projects as stabilizer
Cons
  • Rosette required

Sew-On Base

Product works great for stabilization, but the sheet is too expensive to use for the large quilts I make. With both my inkjet and laser printers, I had to put one sheet in at a time or it would clog or not push through the base. Therefore, it takes some time to print all the patterns.

Pros
  • Country of Origin: USA
Cons
  • Wrinkled

Stronger than newsprint

The block I make is a 32 stud arch with a 30 stud inner arch. This base material holds up much better than paper, especially when I'm studying curves and often need to straighten seams. Even with a shorter stitch length, I can remove stitches without destroying the chain. I haven't gotten around to removing the base yet.

Pros
  • Clear for easy fabric positioning
Cons
  • Vanishing
