Does not fit in Garmin mount!

I needed this particular part to fit my Garmin mount. It does not fit. The screws don't line up with the holes and for some other reason this doesn't work. I ended up replacing the entire suspension.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Not the best

simple replacement for the old k-edge insert.

After the accident I noticed that the Garmin 1030 was hanging in the K-Edge mount. Find out they are designed to break in front of a Garmin mount. Very happy with the replacement insert, not the Garmin 1030.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Easy to repair

VERY BAD QUALITY! CANNOT JOIN OR RETURN

Screw holes drilled incorrectly. They were slightly offset on either side so I couldn't even get a screw in to secure the mount! Extremely poor quality and Revain does not allow refunds. Disappointed ☹️

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Interval

Replacing an entire system without a mount

One of the benefits of K-Edge mounts is the ability to swap inserts when switching from one computer brand to another. The mechanism is extremely simple and can be accomplished within a minute - it requires a very small Allen key. Overall great stuff.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Price that breaks the piggy bank

Great for 25 days :(

Update: 04/21/2019 Although the replacement bracket was outstanding out of the box, it broke even faster than the original bracket. Took 4 rides further the MTB with a total of approx. 150km I can only surmise it's just poor design, the mount doesn't seem to hold up to the bumps and rumble of the mountain bike, the unit starts to wriggle out of the mount and then just won't hold up anymore not recommended for mountain bike applications.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly

Saved my Garmin from a few splashes.

There was a few spatters and the insert broke, not the protrusions on the Garmin. I've had previous models that were all metal and had a Garmin pull tab. it's a pain I have 5 bikes and they all have K-Edge bindings. They're all the same type, bar-mounted, and mounted low so the Garmin sits flush with the handlebars to be as aerodynamic as possible.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • I'll write later

Great for 25 days :(

Update: 4/21/2019 Although the replacement bracket was great out of the box, it broke even faster than the original. Lasts 4 MTB rides for a total of about up to 150 miles. I can only assume it's just poor design. The mount doesn't seem to hold up to the bumps and rumble of the mountain bike. The unit starts to wriggle out of the mount and then just won't stand up. Not for Mountain bike applications recommended.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

Garmin Varia now on bike rack :)

I bought this to mount my Garmin Varia on my commuter bike rack. This little magic did it. If you need to attach something somewhere with a Garmin mount, this will help. I'm lucky enough to have a plastic adapter that I screwed it into easily (and used some epoxy to be sure), but I'm sure you can do it. This works for almost any application that requires a Garmin mount and a flat surface.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Great price
