Warning. There is a high probability of damaging your Garmin if you fall

I've read reviews that mentioned that you're most affected when you're with Dropping this mount and hitting the Garmin will likely break the mount tabs of your Garmin. I thought yes, that's very unlikely. So unlikely that it only took me 4 bike rides before it happened. Overall this is a high quality mount. But the location makes it very risky for any MTB or Fatbike use.

Pros
  • Garmin positions in front of you on a steep slope
Cons

I highly recommend it to carry around your phone

I made one of these myself using adapters I got from my Garmin device. only to drop my phone after a few rides. Then I discovered this product and I am very happy and impressed with its durability and effectiveness. I bought a Garmin adapter for the back of my phone and then clicked it onto this stem and it worked. well traveled and no complaints! my problem solved!

Pros
  • Replaces the head tube top cover

That should have been enough to get me a new Garmin mount. Fast forward about 7 months and this thing doesn't hold a Garmin at all. This is a mount for my MTB bike that I ride maybe twice a month. My Garmin has crashed about 4-5 times in the last 15 rides. Today was the last straw. Driving home on…

Great design with cheap hardware.

I loved this product. At first the assembly went well until I tried to mount the 2 screws that hold the plastic ring to the height. One just ripped off, I barely put it in, now it's worthless and stuck in there, not flush. On the second, I was able to do gently with minimal stripping. See photos. I must destroy the mount if I must remove the cap. I will contact the company to see if they can send me replacement hardware. I cannot remove them for return without destroying them. I will update my…
