Why not buy the best?

I have done a lot of research on oil filters and have used several different brands over the years. At this point in my life I want to spend a little more and make sure I'm getting the best (actually the best, not paying for a name) and this filter is one of the points of that. Would buy again!

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Exchange available

Another quality product K&N

Seems to be of much better quality than the OEM filter I replaced it with. I use K&N filters in all my cars and will continue to do so - personally I can't prove they work any better than the alternatives but they aren't much more expensive and it's cheap insurance to keep the engines happy and to give me rest spirit. Intelligence.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Some minor issues

I love how tight the o-ring is on the filter cap.

. Every time I order one I always check the filter and so far there have been no defects (unlike other brands I've seen). I like how snug the o-ring sits on the filter cap. I've used Fram and STP, both of which allow you to remove the o-ring with your bare hands, but with what K&N suggests you'll need a flat head screwdriver.

Pros
  • The delivery was very fast.
Cons
  • Hard to say.

I'm glad to see that K&N is offering cartridge filters (I .

I'm glad to see that K&N is offering cartridge filters (I can make it mandatory for all future cars to have these top mount cartridge filters Pair) with a Fumoto drain plug and you can literally do an oil change in a suit and tie). Installation was of course easy and there were no problems. I will update this review if I come across anything or if it happens in the future. Filters do not meet expectations.

Pros
  • That's great
Cons
  • New competitors have arrived

I have a 2019 Jeep Wrangler

I have a 2019 Jeep Wrangler. I don't ride it often enough to wear out the synthetic oil I use, but I want to keep the engine in tip-top shape. Luckily, this Jeep has an oil filter on top of the engine, so you can change it without losing oil. So I buy the best filter money can buy and change it every 3 months and oil every 6 months. I have everything set up as automatic submission and I never worry about the process. If I have a filter, I change it. If I have filter and oil, I change both. It's

Love high performance K&N products Parts and Accessories

Haven't had the pleasure of changing the oil since I installed it, although the Cannon oil filter was easier to install than the previous Fram oil filter, the i bought i don't know if it will last longer or not as the last frame i fitted had a hole in it when i took it off, it seems to work and do its job but then again and the oil filter is not what you notice does not work until the engine explodes. I have always had good luck with K&N products and will continue to use them until the end of…

Good oil filter for performance parts and accessories

I've been using a second K&N oil filter on my 2012 Wrangler since I've had it. When I first changed my oil I used Royal Purple 5w-30 motor oil. After driving 6,000 miles I changed the oil again and used this filter a second time. The oil was still fairly clean and you could still see through the streak of oil coming out of the engine. I currently use Valvoline 5w-30 fully synthetic. As for the filter, it costs about the same or less than the Mopar OEM filter and seems better too. K&N can't go…

Amazingly easy oil change with this filter

I have changed the oil in my old cars for years but this is the first time I have had a car that is new enough to use a new type of oil. Filter is great! Oil no longer drips all over the engine and gets on me and stuff. It was the easiest job. I have a 2012 Dodge Durango but it fits many cars with the same 3.6 liter engine. I will not give instructions, there are many. I chose K&N over Fram or even Mopar OEM just because of the brand recognition, quality and confidence in their products. I…
