The rubber insert is too tight!

The tool stuck to the spark plug after installing a new spark plug. Wasn't fun at all spending 20 minutes trying to get him out. I could have drilled out the rubber insert to make it slide off easier but thought I'd leave a warning here to check if it fits before using it. Otherwise everything seems fine.

Pros

Cons

The illustration is wrong. You only get 1 socket

Good quality for the price. Chrome is thick and shiny. The pages are thick too. It looks like it will last a long time. I'm going to cut this and drill out the disc 3/8 for the specific application I have and also remove the insert. The picture shows 2 slots. 5/8 and 13/16. You will only receive 5/8 as stated in the description.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Good for spark plugs and wires

Bought this socket to replace my old spark plugs, looks good, only complaint I have is the neoprene insert. It's great for removing spark plugs, but when you remove the spark plug it pulls the insert with it. From here you can see why you might be having trouble installing stubs. Eventually what you need to do is take out the insert and secure the plug there with a piece of tape, start threading, and then pull out the socket tape and tighten. Pros: Easy to clean. Looks beautiful. Earplugs are…
