Bought for my sister, very good skates. Quality assembly, good ergonomics but small. Consider half a size larger than what you would buy for a boot. The Boa lacing is really interesting, and while I see the ratchet being the earliest to fail in a shoe, it makes lacing a lot easier, especially if you're not looking for aerobic exercise while wearing skates. There are also repair kits for Boa lacing systems, which puts my mind at ease.

Cool skates! Haven't skated for over 30 years.

Great skates! I haven't skated in over 30 years and I only skated a couple of times as a kid and even then my ankles were shaking and I didn't like it. I've just moved into a house by a lake that often freezes over in winter and was dying to try ice skating, so after much research I figured these skates would be my best chance to have some fun. Most Comfortable Skates

Wow, that's all I can say. I've been trying to replace an old hard pair of figure skates for almost a year. I finally had success with these skates. I just received them and will update if the driving differs in any way from my first impression. I have a pair of old Roces inline skates, we are 20 years old and I love them so much.
