This is normal, but the material of the pads tends to squeak when cold. A mechanic friend of mine told me that new (non-asbestos) pads tend to squeak in the cold.

Much better than OEM. The rotors were real out of the box. The pads looked better than anything else on the shelves at local parts stores. Came with new caliper bolt boots and anti-rattle gaskets.

Excellent brake set. My jeep stops immediately in any weather and on any surface. Just make sure you follow the break-in procedure in the manual. Great performance at a great price. from now on my jeep ots power stop.

Very little dust on the pads and rotors and they seem to stay cool even after long periods of use. I installed them on my 2007 Jeep Liberty and they are a definite change from the stock rotors and pads. Very high quality product. Highly recommended.

These are really good kits. I like getting all the rotors and wheel pads in one order. Supplied with brake grease, guides and sliding caps. The rotors are so clean and come in sealed bags that no brake cleaner is required like most rotors. The brake pads were in the wrong boxes (front in the back box, back in the front box) so at first I was concerned they had sent the wrong ones, but one day I noticed they fit great. Good rims, well packaged, they are human marked "driver front, passenger front" This is my second set of these rims and they have done about 60,000km. I'm peeing out my 05 KJ 5k gross weight plus extra bumpers, winch and gear so somewhere in the 6k range. I can't say much about the pads that come with them other than that they have all the hardware except for the slide pins. When I bought this set I was wondering about the price: is it a quality product or just another chinese junk? After receiving them promptly, I installed them and performed the hack as described in the procedure. They work great, but after 2 months the rotors rust on the parts where the pads don't work. I thought that was the idea behind the zinc coating? In summary, I give it a neutral rating. They're better than Autozone or Advanced Junk, but not the best quality either. Good price but rusts…
