love the look of these towels and they wash quite well. However, they really don't absorb ants enough to qualify as kitchen towels. As towels they work, dry dishes or counters or do other tasks - no.

I was hoping for such "smooth" kitchen towels (not terry cloth) but they don't absorb. I kept washing them, hoping they would have to be removed before the absorbency was absorbed, but they never became more absorbent. So I'm not very impressed. Because, as you know, these are towels, and they're designed to absorb liquids, not rub them. I gave them to my husband as kitchen towels.

I wanted a nice fabric cover for my glass plate. These towels are oversized 18" x 28". The only downside is that they come out of the dryer very wrinkled. They have very pretty blue and gray stripes. Towels are supplied in a set of 10 towels. a few months later - I watched this tutorial a few times and found that they were very wrinkled, although I immediately took them out of the dryer. They're still very pretty, but I also found that they don't absorb as much water as I would like.

Instead of using a shelf liner, I prefer to line kitchen shelves with kitchen towels. I have used Ikea kitchen towels in the past but bought these because they would ship faster. I am very happy. The size allows me to fold one end and only use one per cabinet/drawer. (Sometimes I had to use 2 smaller towels.) Since I haven't washed them yet and don't use them for regular kitchen purposes, I can't tell if they're absorbent or durable. But for my purposes they are great! The color turquoise is a…
