Bought and found it prevents litter from building up outside the litter box. The filler goes in the bottom layer and you can just toss it in the bin. My new kitty had an accident on the mat, it was so easy to wash and quick to dry. Just bought 2 more now there is a mat in each tray to keep things cleaner. So happy to have found Skinny!

My cats have a habit of sometimes peeing too close to the edge of the litter box or getting the litter wet, so I had to empty the litter and rinse out the bathroom since the little ones Holes clogged with wet dirt. It's also very easy to clean. I rinse it off with hot water, dry it, spray it with an enzymatic odor neutralizer and it's like new.

Thicker than I expected so we sometimes trip over the edge but like to catch the junk. And it's very hard to get it to smooth out, but it eventually smoothed out the creases almost completely (put heavy litter boxes around until eventually they're mostly flat. Still worth the advice above to contain litter stains, in my opinion) .

Got this for our only tray not in the case. It works very well and captures around 80-85% of dirt (in our case).
