Got this for our only tray not in the case. It works very well and captures around 80-85% of dirt (in our case). I'm only saying this because one of our three cats is a psycho and likes to jump out of the litter box once she's done her business (she's literally an ancient speed demon obsessed with cheating death just so she can fuck us) . , so sometimes she scatters it outside the mat, but the other two use it normally and it stays in the mat. I definitely see a big difference from when we had a plain flat rug and it's easy to clean (although I'd happily throw it in the washing machine because I'm lazy). I will most likely be buying for our toilets as well just to make cleaning easier.
