I was very excited about this great grinder and was not disappointed when I opened the package. However, I topped it up with sea salt, and I'm not sure if it's just me, but the salt comes out very soft. I don't use a lot of salt in my dishes either, but I tried salting the sauce and it took forever to get enough salt to make it palatable. This is a great grinder and definitely does what it's supposed to do. However, sometimes it is difficult to turn the knob at the top. There really isn't much space between the handle and the grinder body so there is some friction when spinning and it feels like they "stick" together and the handle doesn't want to spin. .
