This is a great grinder and definitely does what it's supposed to do. However, sometimes it is difficult to turn the knob at the top. There really isn't much space between the handle and the grinder body so there is some friction when spinning and it feels like they "stick" together and the handle doesn't want to spin. . Besides, it doesn't do much. It takes *a lot* of grinding to produce a decent amount of pepper, and since the handle is already difficult to turn, the whole process becomes downright frustrating. All in all a good product, looks good and does what it is supposed to. Like I said, not very good. I think it's okay if you just need a little pepper to flavor a dish, for example. But if you're using this to spice up a whole pot a bit while cooking, then no, I don't recommend it.
