This is a very attractive salt shaker due to the color variations of the wood texture. It is well made with a secure lid. I use it daily for a pinch of salt. I am very happy with this purchase.

I like the shape of the box. Luckily the lid was level. However, the tree looks and feels unfinished. Although the product was not satisfactory, the customer service was excellent, so I have to give them 5 stars for that alone.

Bought, made in India, as a gift for a foodie friend. He likes it. I bought one made from olive wood from Tunisia which was more than double the price. When this arrived it was so beautiful I almost kept it.

I was disappointed that the color and finish of the box did not match the advertising. The one I got looks a lot lighter and doesn't even look finished. If it's yours, great, but I got it as a gift and am thinking of returning it.

With no wood protection and sitting next to the stove, I expect this box to get splattered and dirty quickly. The description also states that this box is 4 inches in diameter, but that is not the case, in fact it is only 3.5 inches in diameter. I would not recommend this product at all.
