The note for drip brewers

I love it. Clean it with a suitable coffee machine cleaner to make it shine again. Personally, I took off my white collar as it was a hassle to keep clean. I also saw some pretty cool custom collars. Like a little vest.

Pros
  • is understandable even for old people
Cons
  • Makes me angry

This Kalita has changed the way I drink coffee, used Keurig with gourmet coffee in Solofil OMG I can't describe how good the coffee is with this coffee maker, worth every penny, which was made for my son and he immediately bought for himself can't say enough

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Good overflow, but small and rather thin.

Nice little portion. It's a bit subtle and inconsequential. That's small. I made a 300g pitcher and the wave held enough water for it. While the carafe can hold more, the shaft is too small to brew that much coffee. But I like it, but it will only be for brewing a healthy cup of coffee. Also, there's no way this thing can last more than a few months without breaking, but until the decanter breaks I'm willing to buy a replacement plastic or metal shaft.

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • Long wait

The top of the glass broke after a very light impact and there is no replacement available anywhere on the internet. Espressoparts seems to have existed at one time but is now out of stock. Considering how fragile and flimsy this manufacturer is, it's important to have spare parts in stock. Now the whole device is useless to me and I have no choice but to buy a brand new set at a higher price than I originally paid (75 vs 45 of the original price). This is a Japanese product that is unusually…

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Poor set

Great product shipped direct from Japan

I used to have a French press and was looking for a new coffee maker, after breaking the glass again I found this one. What a difference in the taste of my coffee. I didn't believe it until I took my first sip. Coffee tastes "soft", does that make sense? I'm broke for any other coffee! My only concern is that the glass that the filter is in seems so fragile. Being clumsy, I am very careful and hope I can only replace this part if God forbid I break it in the future. Excellent product shipped…

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Unusable features

1st cup 100% sublime. A limitation.

Having used this Kalita Wave style pot/brewer a few times I am giving it 4 stars because: Does it make the best coffee imaginable? Yes. That is beautiful? Yes. Is it easy to clean? Yes. Strong enough for glass? Yes. Is that a fair price for all of the above? Yes. This 5th star eludes me because: Does it keep the 2nd cup of coffee hot for 5 minutes while you drink the 1st? no A warm cup is waiting for you (note, I hardly ever use boiled water). I just think it would be relatively easy to double…

Pros
  • Same as everything before
Cons
  • Quick guide

Catch a wave and hang ten!

I roast my own coffee beans and have been making coffee for many years. I'm excited to see the latest and greatest innovations in the world of coffee making, but I'm not just trying to jump on the bandwagon because of the hype. After a few weeks of research I decided to try the Wave before trying the Hario V60. I was particularly drawn to this setup because of the all-in-one pipette and carafe. If you have a collection of coffee makers like I do, sometimes simplicity can be a blessing! Although

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Weight

Longer life than my Chemex

I was a big fan of my Chemex 6 cup carafe but had issues with clogged filters and slow water flow. I tried different grind settings with my Hario Mini Slim guide and even shook the grind setting through a sieve to remove fine particles, but it was becoming increasingly difficult to get consistent results. It appeared that the way most of the filter was pressed directly against the flat glass concentrated the flow of water just through the bottom of the filter. I would have to lift the filter…

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Damaged
