I bought the best winter boots. These boots look so cheap

I bought the best winter boots. These boots feel so cheap and poorly insulated. In addition, the seller did not deliver them on time. Didn't bother to email me about the delays. I only found out after tracking the missing/undelivered item. Needless to say, won't buy it again!

Pros
  • little 1 is perfect for a boy who usually carries 11-12 year old toddlers. He's sure he can wear it long enough until next winter.
Cons
  • They weren't wide at all and probably fake.

Really freaked out. It looks like it will actually keep my son's feet warm and dry. They also have a soft, warm lining. Looks well made and cute too (for a very functional winter boot for toddlers anyway). But we're back, half my son's leg doesn't fit in, and we've grown a bit taller!

Pros
  • Nice sturdy boot that fits my son's wide foot!
Cons
  • In extreme weather conditions, boots may not provide adequate support or protection for children's feet.

My son LOVES them - my new review

After receiving these boots I ordered a more expensive pair from the same manufacturer as I felt they were not wide enough. We kept them and my 6 year old son tried one on and he loves it. He wears them maybe 6 weeks or more and no complaints. He said his feet stay warm and I see his socks are dry :)

Pros
  • Easy to put on, easy to take off, warm and waterproof!
Cons
  • Boots may not be stylish, resulting in children not wanting to wear them.

Not wide - just normal size

The Kamik boots are very good but they were advertised as wide and not regular. They weren't wide - just the usual size. Had to send them back and was frustrated that they were advertised inaccurately.

Pros
  • Easy to put on. High quality; well made boots. For example reflectors on the back of the boots. Keeps feet warm very well.
Cons
  • The boots can be too heavy for toddlers, making it difficult for them to walk comfortably.

Lets all the water in!

I think we got a defective pair because these boots leaked horribly. We live in Minnesota and it's been a particularly harsh, cold, snowy winter. I bought them for an outdoor college football game in November when it was 25 degrees Fahrenheit. I spent my money on the best boots I could knowing my 2 year old loves being outside. They are warm, nothing to complain about and fit my tall thin child well (I always buy snow/rain boots a size up so they last all season). The top of the boot is down…

Pros
  • I had a pair before and liked them. Not used yet...
Cons
  • Boots may not be waterproof, resulting in wet feet and discomfort in children.

Solid boots in my review.

My 8 year old son wears these boots almost every day during the winter to play outside in the cold and snow. They have held up well and are the second pair we have bought (this is a size up from last year).

Pros
  • My grandson in West Virginia really needed snow shoes, mom says they are perfect!
Cons
  • Boots can be too warm, causing children to overheat and become uncomfortable.

Warm, waterproof and wide

Perfect boots for wide feet. My son is 6 years old, but we always buy a size up for the winter. As expected, they fit well and are roomy enough for his wide/very wide feet (regulars pinch his feet). So the lucky kid sizes have increased to seven so we can get one more winter before we move to adult sizes. They're warm and waterproof for days on snow or ice.

Pros
  • Good
Cons
  • Boots can have poor grip on ice or slippery surfaces, increasing the risk of injury to children.

Kids will enjoy the great outdoors in these cold-weather boots!

Bought these boots for my great grandson who loves to play in the snow! The boots are comfortable and keep his feet warm and dry so he can go sledding outside, build a snowman or make snow angels! Great boot for kids who love snow!

Pros
  • The wide width was wide enough for a child with very wide feet.
Cons
  • May not fit properly due to the size, making it uncomfortable for children.

Warm feet - my rating

This company has never let us down. "Amazing," said my 10-year-old. Durable easy on and off. Excellent protector. And above all, that my children feel comfortable and warm.

Pros
  • son likes her
Cons
  • Boots may not be flexible enough, making it difficult for children to move freely.

Warm and dry - suitable for wide feet

These boots are perfect. My son has very wide feet - he wears an 11 or 11.5 XW in Stride Rite shoes and the 11W fits him perfectly. They have two layers that tighten and keep feet warm and dry. We play LOTS of snowball fights - sometimes he spends hours walking with the neighborhood kids. They held up well and he always came with warm, dry feet. Not a drop of moisture inside.

Pros
  • Synthetic sole
Cons
  • No instructions

Ordering a size larger does not mean you will get it

These boots were listed as a size 13. the number on the box didn't match the number on the boots. They were too tight. But they let me send the boots back for free for return postage. If you don't need a large size these seem very well chosen Tundra Quebec Wides and they work very well.

Pros
  • Heel measures approximately 1.5 inches
Cons
  • High price

Not very wide. Not warm.

I think the length is true to size. Front width is not wide enough. There is extra space behind the heel. As per other reviews, the box says W, but nowhere on the trunk says W or Wide. And not a single number on the trunk matches any of the numbers on the box. The lining has an open front slit that extends 1/3 from the toe. I just don't understand how it's supposed to keep the heat in and out. The non-rubber part is like a canvas. In my opinion they are not warm.

Pros
  • Removable 6mm Dylex pad (97% recycled) with moisture wicking lining
Cons
  • Rosette required
