🔊 KanexPro 18Gbps Stereo Embedder with Toslink Connectivity Review

I recently purchased a high-quality embedder that allowed me to enhance the audio quality of my HDMI sources with ease. As a result of my tests, I determined that this embedder is capable of transmitting clear and crisp audio signals in up to 7.1 surround sound through one HDMI cable. The setup was also incredibly easy, and the compact design makes it easy to integrate into any home entertainment setup.

I used this embed to embed video from my laptop and audio from my karaoke mixer to my TV. It worked, but the video and sound started flickering. The audio frequency is also higher than I liked. I think it's difficult to create stable embed devices. When I was writing this review I could only find two companies that made them. I find another brand to be better and more stable at lower frequencies. I am returning this model.

This was the third brand I tried for my setup (Chromecast > Yamaha Receiver/Amp > Audio Embedder > Vava Projector with integrated soundbar). Models from other brands had problems handling 4K video. It actually works! Update (5 months later): Still working, but I'm having audio latency issues between the processed audio through the embedder and the surround left/right speakers on my Yamaha receiver.
