I'm by no means a music lover, but I can say that these speakers have enough power to deliver smooth and clear sound in a 15x15 living room. I love the glossy white look that matches the bookshelf they sit on. Doesn't look cheap. An understated look as long as the color matches the surroundings. Lots of connectors and preamps that work with my turntable. One thing though: I can only get most of the player out of the left speaker. maybe i'm doing something wrong? These speakers have every chance of being great. Output power, variety of inputs (2 optical!), easy setup. But the performance is just below the socket. You are loud enough. But the sound is incredibly muddy. There is almost no separation between the instruments, and the factory levels sound so far off that it just sounds bad.
