Easy and perfect for stackable blocks

They were at the children's museum and my son loved them so we bought this set for him. He uses them quite often and likes them very much. These are just blocks of wood, but they are a great medium for creating and learning design designs. Plus, it's fun to tie them up afterwards!

Pros
  • High marks for hold and durability from testers
Cons
  • Quality

It's one that every member of the family can enjoy

The blocks are numerous and precisely cut so you can really build a version of anything you can think of. I don't know if I should call it a toy or Lego but he just loves it. It stimulates creativity and can attract multiple children at the same time. challenge and reward. This is something every family member can enjoy.

Pros
  • Hands-free working
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Fun. for bigger kids!

I bought these as a Christmas present for my three children aged 7, 3 and almost 2 years old. The kid doesn't care. My 7 year old can build some fun things. My 3 year old really wants to play but ends up getting very frustrated. He wants to build certain things or have the US built, and the slightest touch can cause the building to collapse, ending in tears and anger. We're working on it. I suggest this for the older crowd!

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Unreliable

Great dice to develop a child's imagination!

These units are a bit pricey but well worth it. They come in a beautiful wooden box for easy storage. The cover is actually a book full of ideas on what to build. The blocks are precision crafted and you can build pretty much anything you can imagine. This 280 piece set has enough blocks to keep my son and his friend playing for hours and taking great pride in their creations. This is a quality product that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great educational/creative toy. These…

Pros
  • Great for a small home

  • A dubious purchase for the elderly

The perfect toy for ALL ages!

Great! My kids LOVE this. We already had a set and bought another one for the holidays. Yes, they're expensive, but they get far more use than most other toys we've received over the years. They are used to building office buildings, towers, princess houses, matchbox garages - the list is endless. Totally worth the investment. The book that comes with it is great too and we built some structures. The blocks hold up well to rough handling from being dropped, kicked or stepped on, but they still…

Pros
  • Makes you happy
Cons
  • Discontinued model

Amazing toy for all ages

My nephew and his wife are happy to have a fourth boy. I don't usually give my child clothes, but choose books that I know won't outgrow them for a while. But since I wanted to find something that not only this kid but his brothers could have fun with NOW, I decided on a Kapla gift and they LOVE it. My son got Kapla for Christmas after telling us about it in first grade at our local Norwegian primary school. That same year, at the first parents' evening, the teacher asked if the parents would…
