Description of 🔨 Kapro 130 62 24 Project I Beam 24 Inch: Strong, Durable, and Precise Construction Tool

I-beam spirit level for determining horizontal and vertical plane as well as incline. Injection-molded acrylic vials—one level, one plumb, and one 45° incline—resist breakage and have a sensitivity of 0.001"/inch. V-shaped groove in the base provides reliable seating when leveling round items. Sculpted handgrip for portability and ease of use. Aluminum body for light weight and corrosion resistance with ABS end caps that help absorb impacts.

Works well for the price

Works well for the price. This is a low cost beam scale. but it should be good enough for 99% of lay people. If it breaks, no big deal for the price you paid.

Quality at a great price

I'm not much of a carpenter or DIY enthusiast so take my opinion with a pinch of salt. I bought it to be available when my son-in-law (a professional builder) works at our home. He didn't complain one bit, so I assume it's a good product.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Must be poor quality control

Doesn't show correct plane when V side is up. It has a lot of good reviews so maybe I just got a lemon. To check the level's accuracy, place it on a table and if the bubble is not centered, move the bottom until it is centered, then turn the level over one at a time and the bubble should still be in the be middle. Mine is clearly off when the V-notch side is up. OK if the flat side is up. This means that the spirit levels are defective and not mounted imprecisely on the frame.

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • Can't remember but there was something
