After installation, fuel flowed from the overflow pipe. I removed the float chamber and found that the needle jet was so far from the float that the float bent the needle to the side instead of into the seat. I can't figure out if there's a fix to make it work.

After weeks of fiddling with the stock Mikuni carburetor I bolted it on and after 5 minutes of adjustment a 1995 Suzuki JR50 was running great. I highly recommend this replacement. For the price of an OEM air filter, you can replace the entire carburetor and airbox.

Mix some gas, it took 7 strokes. Give it some gas, but it works well. I didn't have to touch the air or the idle screw. Tune your bike when you change the carburetor. In my case I know how to get them working without this, but if you are new to this just change the spark plug. She idles 1 kick all day.

This is junk! I have an lt50 and a jr50 that use the same carburetor so I bought 2 of these to replace the factory carburetors that were leaking and not working properly. I put one on my lt50 and it couldn't get it to work properly, the quad couldn't even get enough power to go up a small hill. Put another carb on my jr50 and it poured fuel out of the overflow as soon as I opened the faucet.
