Great product and even better customer service

I received this kit but it had a short little black rod that was needed to run the compressor. I contacted the seller and he sent me a whole new kit including the stem so I have a lot of parts now. Don't waste your money on a brand new device. These parts are easy to install and so far I've run a refurbished compressor for about 6 months with no problems.

Only lasted thirty days!

I have ordered two sets of Karbay: at the moment THREE out of four membranes have broken in just four months! The magnets/housing/etc. my OEM pump are either new or good; The problem is that this Karbay rubber seems to be too stiff/stretchy and therefore can't seem to handle the constant flexing required as it always breaks around the OD of the inner plastic bushing. By the way, the previous OEM Hiblow membranes lasted six years.

Also replace diffuser

9/22/21 I have been using my own Clearstream Aerobic system for 14 years now. These diaphragms matched my HP-80 pump when I installed it today. After installation I also replaced the air filter in the pump and the diffuser at the other end of the air line. Diffusers clog after 6-12 months and make it difficult for the pump to supply air. I'm hoping these secondary membranes will last longer by replacing the diffuser and air filter.

Dave the old parts until you're done.

You'll need some parts from your old pump, so don't throw anything away until you're done. Newer pumps have a reset switch instead of a fusible link, so some newer parts cannot be used. Replacing these pumps costs over $400. So a repair kit and 30 minutes of your time is a good deal. The recovery isn't difficult, but I recommend checking out the instructions on You Tube. The kit is great and a refurbished pump should last as long as a new one. Our electric motor has been wearing out for a long…

Beware of a dangerous error in the instructions!

All ok except for one wrong, very destructive, dangerous and expensive step in the instructions. Figures 15 and 16 "Replacing the safety pin on the SP switch" are completely wrong. They point the wrong way to insert a safety pin. The correct direction is that the head of the pin is snug against the back of the plastic block and the tiny plastic nut is snug against the two copper contact plates, providing a strong and secure contact. Without knowing it at first, I trusted those idiotic…
