4-inch Go-Kart Mini Bike Brake Band & Pin Kit for ATV Minibike Brake Drum Review

There was a tape jump issue on the brake hub. The earlier group had guide tabs. Probably had to pay more to get tabs with guides.

It didn't turn out that the joints were welded at all. Installed it, sat on the go kart and broke on the first brake. Complete garbage.

Rubber wears out much quicker than the standard brake band. The metal is very malleable, which allows it to twist off the drum. It stays off center and comes without retaining clips.

Converting my son's mini bike from a cable disc brake to a clutch brake. The brake clutch is designed much better due to the simple operation. I would recommend switching to clutch brake on one of the smaller 3hp mini bikes.

As advertised. Appears to be of very good quality. The burst pad on it is nice and thick. This is the second I've bought and it's great for my son's go kart. Easy install, worth the money. Will definitely buy it again if I need it. I will update the post when it wears out so I can let everyone know how long it will last.

I have never left a review in all my years of working with Amazon. If there were zero stars, I would definitely put zero. Low quality product. Installed and didn't even kart 1 mile before the brakes failed. After many attempts to insert shims to take up the gap, the brakes failed again. The welds failed. This was by far the worst product I've ever bought and I wouldn't recommend anyone who doesn't have a machine shop full of equipment (who could build their own there that would top this mess)…
