They were easy to install and a big improvement on my Z400. However, after a few weeks of installation, the brake lever adjuster got stuck and I can no longer adjust its clearance. It's in a comfortable position as is, but it's frustrating to know that no matter how much I play with it, I can't adjust it any further. Definitely a quality control issue, although otherwise it looks pretty solid.

Well the levers actually work which is a plus compared to other Chinese levers I've bought. The issue I have is that they rock up and down like no other, and while the brake lever is well aligned, the clutch lever leaves quite a bit of room on the bar, even with the cable fully pulled. I'll take them to the store to test and update my review if they can fix the issues, otherwise I might come back.

Moving away from the ugly levers it's only natural to look for something flashy and well built; this couple is. At first (before receiving them) I was very curious if they would seem small for my large hands (size XL) but they don't, in fact they seem AMAZING! Added a bonus to Adaptability, which was not the primary goal. The quality is great and I've compared them to some of my friends' crappy competitor bikes (he ended up throwing them away and got these instead).

Color not as pictured but still gold. At least slightly yellowish. It also has some texture but is smooth to the touch. The connecting links between the base and the actual arm are a little wobbly, but you don't notice that in use. I've tried tightening it but I don't have a connector thin enough to fit. The levers still work and were insanely cheap compared to others so I'll compromise. You get what you paid for. Just thought you might want to know before you buy.

Looks better than the original, feels better than the original and is adjustable unlike the original. Place. Simple enough that you can customize your mid-ride without missing a beat. Strong enough that they won't go anywhere unless you make them. Gone are the days of tapping the lever on my knuckles with two fingers when shifting or braking.
