Flakes are crushed. Grain and grain dust fall into the lower compartment (but there is a lid), there is not enough space to remove the lid with a bowl of milk underneath. The flake gets a tail faster than I can consume and the build quality on the stand is weak and feels very cheap.

This just arrived today and I'm still very impressed. It was sooooo easy to put together and my husband loves it! LAUGH OUT LOUD! It contains a whole small box of crisp biscuits and a whole box of meijer bran cereal. I'm so excited to start using it every day. The only problem I see is that there isn't much space between the bowl and the cereal. BUT! I think this is good because I'm trying to lose weight and it's the perfect portion size for me so I don't have to worry about gaps.

I bought this to help my kids be more independent. They already have a small container of milk in the fridge, so now they can get their cereal too. They love to do things by themselves, but everything is high up in the closets, so they always had to climb on the shelves and get chairs. Now everything is easily accessible to have breakfast alone. I am very disappointed in this dispenser. As you can see in the video, it's very thin and wobbly. I'm actually worried that the canisters might end up breaking their mounts. Every time I hand out food (bought to store dog food that spends well) it wobbles a bit. The top also just sits there, with no handle mechanism. So the product description states that the products are stored for 45 days, but I would highly doubt that. If you eat fast there is no problem. Otherwise not the best solution…

I love it! I installed this in my agency office (we're a tech company so it's fine) and the team loves it. Installation was easy, looks perfect and they work as expected. I purchased two sets of this double cereal dispenser. I bought this because we were having a big brunch at home and I thought the kids would enjoy eating granola. It was a great success! Actually brunch was a month ago and we continue to use them and they are displayed on the granite wall in our kitchen. Children can easily help themselves. 11/28/2021- The cereal dispenser will hold up even after months of use by children. The only downside is that the dispenser could be made sturdier as it tends forward when loading cereal or using the dispenser.
