Despite the rating I keep them simply because they don't fulfill a role of Icon and Tekton. However, the metal finish and chrome finish lag far behind other Taiwan-made wrenches like the Icon, the Husky Pro, the Capri, and the (Taiwan-made) Craftsman. I would give Gearwrench a 7/10 for chrome prep and a 6/10 for chrome and polish. I have a new toolbox in stock and have decided to stock up on a wide range of wrenches - 12-point combo, ratchet, reversible ratchet and flexible ratchet - to ensure I always have have a tool handy for the job.
