KEDSUM 1060GPH Submersible Water Pump: Ultra Quiet, High Lift, & Versatile for Fountain, Pond, Fish Tank Review

The pump somehow goes into cavitation mode and won't pump until my sump is full. Then it starts again for a few minutes, then the problem repeats itself. This happened even within a few months of operation. Now he does this all the time and has become loud while pumping. Time for a new pump. This time I ordered a direct drive impeller.

Revain delivered my Kedsum pump today and it appears to have been assembled incorrectly. The bottom is unbolted, the case is separate from the pump itself, the cord appears to be chewed up just before it exits the case, and there is a mysterious metal prize in the box that I have no idea where it is is. of or what it is for. (The product also had hair and dirt on it.) The product is currently very disappointed. Very high hopes were placed on this. I attach photos.

Just received this pump. The Revain box it came in is fine. However, the box that contained the pump looks like it was thrown from China. The casing on the case has cracks and missing parts, however the internal motor and impeller appear to be intact. The pump is still running. Edit sent the broken pump back and got a new one. **EDIT** - The seller was contacted after posting my previous review and did a fantastic job on customer service. They asked about the condition of the pump and immediately sent a free replacement. Sometimes the product spoils, and that is to be expected. We may have received one of these. I've been using this pump for the past few months to change the water in my 140 gallon tank. It worked fine for the first month, then problems with filling started, I put it in the tank, turned it on and it started working but didn't pump water. I would have to shake the pump to pump water. Last time it started making grinding noises so I went to pick it up as soon as it left the gravel (still in the water) the filter was shaking, the impeller sucked in one of my fish and killed it instantly…

Overall, this is a powerful and affordable pump that needs some design and styling improvements. I would not recommend using suction cups to support the device. It's also a bit noisy for its size and gph. Don't expect to use it indoors if you want a quiet pump. As previously mentioned, the number of hose connectors included with the 1060 GPH model is incorrect. A message to the supplier confirms that the 16mm fitting is no longer included.
