I've been using this humidifier for a week and it worked fine initially. Now it works for a while and then starts beeping, flashing red and then turns off. I use a water filter and while it doesn't look dirty I tried cleaning it but it only works for a few minutes and shuts off.

At first I liked the product and it gave 5 stars, and then, after about a week of intensive use, the mist began to smell. There are beads you can hear rattling between where you pour water and the tank, but I didn't realize they smelled. When the tank is cleaned, the insides are covered in red residue from this mystery. Nowhere on the seller's page is it indicated that there is some sort of built-in flavor. Very frustrating.

After reading the reviews I was glad I bought this humidifier, love the look, large capacity and the ability to top fill. However, the humidifier I received is definitely defective - it keeps turning off because the hygrometer is severely disabled, as you can see in the attached video. It shows 75 percent when it's actually only 32. If there is a high proportion of fog, a puddle will also form on the humidifier and on the floor. Maybe I have a lemon, I don't know. Unfortunately it's going back.

We have had LOTS of humidifiers but I needed something that would work better in our huge master suite so my husband could get some mist instead of just smacking me in the face with a small countertop. Well when this humidifier actually worked it was the best humidifier I have ever had but after reading some reviews that it didn't even last 3 months I waited until now to check it out , after it stopped working properly on day 47. I tried to follow all the instructions carefully and accurately, using only distilled water, never overfilling it and cleaning it as directed. I really enjoyed this humidifier for a couple of weeks until I found a big problem with it. I cleaned it very thoroughly every 3 days because contact with mold is extremely dangerous, but today I found that the nozzle (where the mist comes from) is almost impossible to clean as the unit is a long one piece piece and it there is no way to take it apart. I have used several Cranes in my time, a large dual tank ultrasonic humidifier and more recently one of the top rated models here (TaoTronix). As long as they do their job, they all have the same disadvantage - refilling the tank is a nuisance. You have to take it to the sink, open the tank (by lifting the diffuser that you forget to take off every time), hum a song or three while you fill it, close it and bring it back to the Keecoon to get around this problem completely to solve by making it…
