They're not intended as water shoes, but they do a great job in and out of a small paddling pool. They have a great feel, fit well, are thick and durable, and have a great vibrant color scheme. Worked equally well in a plastic pool or on the bike. Will have to consider buying again when our baby outgrows them!

Apparently the material has some kind of plastic coating. After repeated wearing in the water, the plastic detaches from the material and sand and dirt get between the plastic and the material.

My son likes these shoes very much. They are true to size. They do smell a bit at first, but other than that they fit well and look good. My son loves the bright blue color. He wears them all the time when he's playing in the sprinkler or going to the beach. Good sturdy shoes for the money.

I really thought they would be great for my 9 year old. In the summer we travel a lot, go hiking, play in the rivers etc. They are great for him but they rub on the back of his heels so they blister and bleed. He always has to fold the back and use them on his shoes like slippers, which totally defeats the whole purpose.

They are perfect for my little ones. So light and easy to care for. Also, they are not too bulky for my 15 month old. I don't normally spend that much on things my kids will outgrow in a few months, but it has turned out to be well worth the money.

I really liked this shoe for my 4.5 year old. He has weak ankles and by the way he walks and runs in them we can tell these are good supportive shoes. This is without a doubt my favorite shoe for a 3 year old. He prefers to do everything himself, which is amazing. We are dedicated and enthusiastic porters because we all have wide feet, which at times make them seem normal. They offer the comfort, width and grip of traditional scissors, but the strap system on them is such an improvement. I will buy them in the future!

My toddler loves these shoes. I love how bright and fun they are and they are very easy for my 2 year old to put on and he has no problem putting them on. I love that these are water shoes but they have a durable sole and offer tons of support while walking and playing which is great for toddlers. Easy to slip on and off, yet the velcro stays in place for an active toddler. Dries quickly when wet but can be worn anytime. Excellent outsole traction and grip. My little one ran across the deck shortly after putting on the sprinkler and didn't fall! They are of a certain weight that shows their quality but not too heavy for my active 2.5 year old.

They look good and have the usual Keen craftsmanship, but the material lining the top edge of the sandal is a grippy foam that causes my son's heel ulcers. Wouldn't recommend it.
