The fabric used on belts wears out easily = much more than previous brands. Probably suitable for tying flat loads or tarpaulins. I use straps to tie down vintage cars and have found that they don't resist friction very well. After only three rides I have to replace a belt. Previous straps that came with the trailer have been used for three years without this problem.

These items are designed for tough use. I bought these as I sometimes tow my truck and also wanted to have them as a spare in case I tow my boat long distances. You are a lot bigger than you think. The straps are long enough, I really wish they were only about 8ft, but I bought a 16" just to be safe. A ratchet the size of a tennis shoe. Very well done. No regrets with that. The price was also the best I found.

Straps came in excellent quality. I have used them several times and have never had any problems or complaints. I've owned them for quite some time and have been waiting to do my review to see how they hold up and overall I'm very happy with the results. I bought it on 8/3/2015. The only negative came to me in orange. definitely not the green one I was hoping for.

I thought buying a more expensive set of belts meant quality but these are by far the worst I have ever had. EVERYONE failed. The straps have loosened or snapped and the ratchet has nearly engaged on everyone. I've used this set about 10 times since I bought it and apart from the first use I was disappointed. I want my money back but I bet the supplier won't refund my purchase after such a long time.

Love these straps! Good ratchets, solid construction and won't loosen on rough terrain. I used them as ratchet straps for my caravan. Use them with small 18 inch loop ties to tie the car to a car trailer by wrapping the tires around it. The car didn't move at all. The car was on a trailer. My only criticism (and a small one) is that they have faded after a month of summer sun.

I used them for the first time yesterday. I've bought a lot of cheap, crappy Chinese straps that stretch and slip. These are the straps you need if you want your bike to stay upright during transport. I have driven my Hayabusa through mountains and desert without slipping or moving. I will never buy those crappy 1 inch straps again. The hooks are very strong, but it would help if they were a bit deeper and had a latch to make it easier to tie down the bike. I will definitely buy again.
