Generally too imperfect for such a simple device. The valve body/packing was so loose that it was leaking despite a very good stainless steel body. When the (backup) valve is closed, the pressure on the low side inside the regulator increases by 20-30psi and often exceeds 50psi. -5 cycles to rest. all with the valve closed. Like some other people who reviewed it, the regulator knob is very difficult to adjust but I solved this problem with a #30 wrench which gives me more grip (see pic ). Now it's pretty easy to turn it by hand (I don't need a key, btw).
