Review on ๐Ÿบ Kegco KC LH-542 Draft Beer Regulator, Chrome: Optimal Performance for Draft Beer Enthusiasts by Desiree Scott

Poor quality regulator, get something else!

is a joke. The regulator is useless - does not regulate the pressure properly. Come back to it the next day and the outlet pressure will be off by about 15psi and will need to be readjusted. Also, you cannot manually adjust the push button. it's too hard you need a wrench for this. In addition, the pressure at which the safety valve blows is not constant and is also too low. Don't set the outlet more than 35psi or you risk blowing it up when you open the tank. It's best to get a quality controller. I replaced it with a Taprite t742hp, which is practically the same price (just $7 more), made in the USA, has a solid polycarbonate push button that is easy to manually adjust, and most importantly, the output pressure doesn't drift. In addition, repair/rebuild parts are readily available.

Pros
  • Beautiful
Cons
  • Without a gun
