Downhill wire bead version has 2 ply construction and STICK-E Compound for better grip. Cross Country folding bead version is single ply with STICK-E Compound or DTC (Dual Tread Compound). FREERIDE wire bead version is single ply, Stick-E and added Butyl insert for extra strength and durability.

Exceptional Performance, Minuscule Drawbacks

When I tried this tire I was immediately impressed with its grip on both pavement and gravel .The tread pattern optimizes traction for a smooth ride, regardless of terrain. The Happy Medium is also puncture-resistant, making it a reliable choice for adventure rides. However, the tire is slightly heavier than others on the market, and its tight spacing can occasionally trap debris. Overall, i highly recommend this product for its outstanding performance and durability..

The rear has done about 3800 miles, it's been pretty good. I think it might take longer, though.

Didn't buy from Revain. The tire was stock on my Quick CX 3 Cannondale. The rear has done about 3800 miles, it's been pretty good. I think it could have lasted longer but I had a breakdown during that time so I decided to replace it. I would buy this rubber again. My front Kenda Happy still works. So far more than 5500 miles have been covered.
