Terrible device, avoid at all costs

As a result of using this product, I found that programming was difficult and confusing. The manual was unclear and I wasted hours trying to figure it out. The only pro is that it did eventually work, but at such a cost to my time and sanity that I cannot recommend this device.

Probably bad radio

It didn't help me. I'm not sure if I have a problem with the radio (most likely) or with the cable. So I returned it with no problems.

Unreliable - failed after first use

I programmed a Kenwood TM-281 with this. It worked. When I tried to program another 281, nothing. Empty response on first attempt to read. Blocked the port on the second try. CHIRP closed and retired. The same thing. computer changed. The same thing. Changed to another 281. Same. I conclude that he simply failed in action. Too bad the return took too long. I think I'll jump to RT.
