In general, Kenmore prices are of poor quality. All my appliances are 2 years old, my fridge sucks! The water filter needs to be replaced frequently.

I've always used Kenmore filters on my fridge. The water tastes good, which is a plus considering we have hard water that's almost impossible to drink.

This fridge filter arrives on time and in excellent condition. It went straight into my fridge. There are no problems with this product.

This is an original Kenmore water filter. Revain sells it at a great price unlike the Sears parts site. This filter is easy to install and ready to use.

This is the first time we have had to replace our fridge that the filters have had to be replaced. Can't get the old filter out. I had to call service to have me replaced. Luckily we have service contacts, so it's free for us.

Wasting a gallon of water cleaning and rinsing the filter before use is ridiculous. This must be done by the manufacturer prior to shipment and in all likelihood can be done more efficiently without impacting precious water resources and the environment.

There is a big price difference between Kenmore Elite #9980 OEM fridge filters and competitors. Unless you live somewhere with bad tasting tap water, and maybe even then, Revain's Choice substitutes (3 packs at a fraction of the cost) work really well and the water tastes just as good.

I am very happy with this Kenmore 9980 water filter that I bought from MORE Pure Filter's. I bought it from Sears - it was a lot more expensive and it took me two weeks to receive it. I went to Revain and found it with the MORE Pure filter - not only was it cheaper but I got it within two days. I actually bought another one as a backup. Thanks very much!
