These water filters used to be bought from Sears stores in Honolulu but the only filter is closing in the coming ones weeks . So online is the only way to get this item. Good, quick processing; Delivery was about a week. So kudos, Revane. And don't exclude this item from your inventory.

We ordered the filter as per the parts manual but no matter who tried the filter would not stay in place and leaked all over the floor and fridge.

Filter for my fridge. These were the perfect and original Kenmore filters. I got two for the price Sears paid for one. It was a great purchase. The filters arrived in just a few days and are working as expected. The package was slightly damaged in transit, but that's not the seller's fault. The filters were not damaged.

Remove the old filter and check the part number. Don't worry, it won't cause water leakage. There are other Kenmore Elite refrigerators. They have different tops. The filter is behind the bottom shelf by the left door. Simply grab the shelf on both sides and lift straight up. The filter will turn out a little; Turn left to remove. Check part number 469490 and replace until a new one arrives.

It would be great if I got both filters but only one box came with one filter! Revain gave me a 1/2 refund as I only received 1/2 of my order but now I can only change one of my two filters. Very easy to change. The water will bounce multiple times to release air bubbles. I recommend pouring out the first 5-10 glasses of water to get the filter working, then throwing away all the old ice so you have new, fresh, clean ice! The water will look cloudy, but once the bubbles are gone it will be nice
